CES 2019: Our Favorite Vegas Eats
If you know BDSmktg, then you know we’re all about food. Besides being sales experts, we also like to think of ourselves as extreme foodies. From fine dining experiences and famous steakhouses, to the hole-in-the-wall shacks and the restaurants off the beaten path, our experts share their favorite Vegas spots to eat your heart out at while you’re not on the CES show floor.
STK at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas
Jon Garcia, Sr. Director of Client Development, loves STK because “of the great food and the music/DJ scene they have going on while you eat.” This upscale steakhouse with a nightclub vibe is the perfect intro to your CES experience. End Day 1 of the show by going big with the Foie Gras Pop Tart to start, Horseradish Crusted Short Rib as your main, a side of Lobster Mac & Cheese, and the Banana Bread Sundae for dessert, all paired with a “Not Your Daddy’s” Manhattan cocktail.
Vintner Grill in Summerlin
This American bar and bistro is a favorite place to dine in Vegas for Melissa Burke, Director of Marketing, who exclaims, “Can anything top a waiter presenting a tray of breads to select from?!” While it’s not on the strip and located in a non-descript office park, this local Summerlin neighborhood dining gem is completely worth the trek. Sink into a corner booth and kick things off right with the Fromage + Carne charcuterie board. Then warm up with the Braised Lamb Bolognese as your main, and end with an espresso paired with one of their many amazing bistro desserts.
Joe’s Stone Crab at the Forum Shops in Caesar’s
When crab is your name, then you know that’s going to be the menu game. Joe’s is known among our BDSers for their amazing seafood and ultimate surf and turf menu. From the King Crab Louie to the Ahi Tuna Filet Mignon, this is the perfect place for all seafood lovers. It made our list because as Jennifer Fisher-Finnegan, VP of Client Service, puts it, “Well, just because it is SOOO good!”
Andiamo Steakhouse at The D
Be transported back into the Rat Pack days with a visit to this classic Italian steakhouse. Matt Russo, Director of Client Service, recommends this jaunt “for the food and atmosphere. It’s great for a small table of 4-6.” Grab some colleagues and splurge on the Andiamo Grande Meatball to start, the Tortellaci Guiseppe as a second course, and the Veal Osso Bucco or Bone-In New York Strip as your main.
