This month’s Employee Spotlight features Sr. Field Operations Manager and loyal BDSer since 2016, Haylee B.! Her main responsibilities include managing the team’s visits, facilitating requests from client services, and identifying and setting up training opportunities. Read on to learn out more about Haylee, her favorite part about working for BDSmktg, and the secret career coaching skill she has. 

Q: In three words, how would you describe yourself?   

A: Helper, self-starter (when I see something I go for it!) and connect (making connections with people).  

Q: In three words, how would you describe your career?   

A: Unexpected, fast-paced, fulfilling.  

Q: What is your favorite part about working for BDS?   

A: My favorite part is the flexibility and living by the phrase BDS goes by: “work hard, play hard.” Love that I have the ability to do other things outside of my work life.  

Q: Where did you go on your last vacation and where do you want to go next?   

A: I went to New York back in March and I’ve been there three times now – I fall in love with New York each time! One day I’ll make it to London.  

Q: What is your favorite food?   

A: Super weird, but salad! I was the only kid in first grade that drew 100 bowls of salad when asked to draw our favorite food 100 times.  

Q: Do you have a hobby?   

A: Drinking coffee! I like to try local coffee shops to get the feel of the area. 

Q: What is your favorite holiday?   

A: My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving. I love to cook, and every year I bring a pie. It’s great to see family and it’s a perfect time to get together. 

Q: What’s a secret skill you have?   

A: I would say I’m a career coach. I enjoy guiding and giving my family and friends career advice. Being a connector is a passion of mine. A great example I could share is a conversation I had with a co-worker about school. The very next day he came back to me and said he applied to go back and continue his education – he eventually received his master’s!
