This month’s Employee Spotlight features our Director of Solution Development and a loyal BDSer of over 15 years, Mollie G.! Mollie started with BDS in 2001 and is what we like to call a BDS Boomerang; she left in 2005 for a year and has been back at BDS since 2006. She currently manages the Sales Operations team, who supports all our Sales Leads in developing strategies, proposals, and budgets for new business opportunities. Q: What is your favorite part about working for BDS?
A: One of my favorite things at BDS is the opportunity for new experiences. I have been able to work in several varying roles within the agency and even directly with our clients, each one contributing to my overall knowledge of the business and building my skill sets. Our culture and people are another great thing about working for BDS. My co-workers have become great friends. It’s a work hard play hard mentality for sure!
Q: Free trip or money?
A: I think it would depend on the amount of money! I would most likely want a trip, so I wouldn’t have to be responsible with the money.
Q: Where would you recommend going on vacation? Why?
A: Depending on the goal of the vacation; whether it’s relaxation or exploring. I think that Cabo and Costa Rica are both great places to relax and have some adventures.
Q: Growing up, what was your favorite board game?
A: Our family is very big into Monopoly, mostly during the holidays. People outside our family do not enjoy playing with us and refer to it as “Grayopoly”.
Q: If you could go back in time, what year would you travel to?
A: I think I would travel back to my freshman year of high school; I won’t say what year that was!
Q: What do you like to do in your spare time?
A: During the summer I spend a lot of time at the river. Nothing beats being on the water in the summer!
