This month’s Employee Spotlight features our very own Director of Client Service for Break Fix, Lauren J. As a BDSer for over nine years, Lauren is one of the most dedicated team leaders you’ll find at BDS. She lights up any room with her megawatt smile, and works tirelessly to service both our clients and partners with care and ensure their goals are met day in and day out. Outside of work, she has stories for days about her daughter, is anxiously awaiting her new little one, and could probably tell you all about her amazing adventures in Utah and her second home, Disneyland!

Q: Briefly tell us about your job.
A: I’ve been fortunate enough to hold various positions within the BDS Merchandising team in my tenure. With the development of our Break Fix service over the past couple of years, I’ve been able to help develop new client programs, and with my awesome team, manage all aspects of our day-to-day program execution.

Q: What is your favorite part about working for BDS?
A: My favorite part is definitely the people I work with, who have become my friends. There’s nothing better than after a long day being able to pick up the phone and talk shop, and in a second flip and be able to talk life – it’s awesome and I really respect and appreciate all of my colleagues!

Q: What is your favorite band?
A: I will forever be a Justin Timberlake fan!

Q: Do you have a hobby?
A: Any time we can make it to the mountains, my family loves to ski and snowboard. Living in Utah, we have the greatest snow on earth and try to take advantage as much as we can! We started our daughter on skis at 20 months, and can’t wait to get her out there this season to tear it up!

Q: Do you have a favorite book?
A: I loved the Hunger Games series, but my reading these days consists of mostly nursery rhymes.

Q: What is your goal in life?
A: I grew up in a household where our motto was “work hard, play harder!” I hope that I can continue to have amazing family adventures creating memories to last a lifetime! Also, being a mom, I hope I can be a role model of someone who has a work-life balance and showing that hard work pays off!
