Read on to learn more about Ashley, her role at MAG, the highlight of her career, and her interests and hobbies outside of work.

Q: Tell us about your journey with MAG. Have you always been in experiential marketing?

A:  Before joining MAG, I worked in the fashion industry managing several types of retail accounts and assisting in building product lines for various brands. I also planned weddings on the side which is what led me to pursue events full time. MAG has been a wonderful experience with amazing colleagues and new adventures each day.

Q: Tell us about your role. What do you do on a day to day basis?

A: As an Account Executive at MAG, I manage various clients to plan and produce events. We start with a concept and build out from there leaving no stone unturned. Each day is unique, but in essence we focus on researching and securing vendors, creating branding, laying out the logistics of a program and of course, communicating with our clients.

Q: What aspect of your career do you enjoy the most?

A: The best part is seeing a vision come to life. We can spend months putting together a program so it’s very rewarding when it goes from a concept to a live event. Being able to see the reaction from attendees, whether they’re excited or moved by a facet of the program is rewarding.

Q: Any new trends you’re seeing in the experiential marketing world?

A: It’s all about standing out and engaging consumers in new ways. At the moment there is a desire to develop multi-sensory environment. Capitalizing on the ability to reach consumers beyond just sight by taking advantage of smell, sound and touch.

Q: What has been the highlight of your career at MAG?

A: Every successful event is a highlight but having the opportunity to be part of such an awesome team is the cherry on top. We spend a lot of time together especially when activating, it’s nice to be on a team that is supportive and fun to be around.

Q: What insights have you gained from working with clients over the years?

A: Having worked with many types of clients over the years, I’ve learned the importance of being a chameleon. Every client is unique, it’s beneficial to adapt to their way of operating while also incorporating your expertise to guide them in the right direction.

Q: Outside of work, do you have any interests or hobbies?

A: I love exploring with my pup and boyfriend whether it be on a trip or roaming the local streets (it’s NYC there’s always something new!).
